Proposal software for photographers

Photography proposal software helps you agree on the shoot, image delivery, editing, usage and price before taking on the work.

Write the brief before drafting

  • Client and intended use: a brand shoot, event or portrait session.
  • Location, shoot date, duration and any access requirements.
  • Deliverables: selected image count, file formats and delivery date.
  • Editing rounds and the process for extra work.
  • Agreed price, applicable tax details and payment schedule.

Example scope that avoids guessing

Instead of ‘photos for social’, write ‘one two-hour shoot at the agreed location, 20 edited images, one consolidated editing round, delivery by [date], usage as agreed in writing’. Replace every detail with what you can actually deliver.

Where smpl.proposals fits

Enter the client, scope and price to draft a proposal, then review and edit before sharing. Free includes the client page and e-signature. PDF/DOCX downloads and custom branding require Pro. AI drafting does not establish legal usage rights or replace contract review.

Keep the next steps distinct

An accepted proposal does not prove payment was received. Set up bookings or invoices as needed. Automatic proposal-to-invoice transfer is not claimed; check the actual handoff in your workflow.
