Invoice software for cleaning businesses

Cleaning invoice software should keep each visit, job address, agreed extra and amount paid clear so both you and the client know what remains due.

A repeatable cleaning invoice workflow

  • Confirm the visit and any approved extras before drafting the invoice.
  • Use specific line items rather than a single unexplained total.
  • Keep the service address separate from billing details where needed.
  • Enter money already paid and check the remaining amount.
  • Review invoice settings, currency, taxes and due date before sharing.

Example: a visit plus an extra

A sample CAD 150 visit plus a CAD 30 oven clean totals CAD 180 before applicable tax. If CAD 50 was already received, the remaining balance is CAD 130 plus applicable tax. These are illustrative amounts; use your agreed prices.

Where smpl.invoices fits

Free includes unlimited invoices, saved rates and PDF download. Pro adds Stripe Connect payment links, branding and overdue follow-up tools. Follow-up copy is prepared for you to review; do not assume the app sends every message automatically.

After payment

Use Ledger to keep receipts and records separate from invoices. Supported first-party Stripe payments can record into a chosen connected business ledger. Manual cash or bank payments need their own entries; automatic bank feeds are not available.

Free and Pro
